Orange Home Grown Farmers & Artisans Market Voted Among Top Three in OC Register’s “Best of Orange County 2026” Farmers Market Category

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Orange, California - September 16, 2026 - The Orange Home Grown Farmers & Artisans Market has been voted among the top three in the Farmers Market category in the Orange County Register’s “Best of Orange County 2026.”
The recognition celebrates Orange Home Grown as one of the three farmers markets selected by Orange County Register readers in a category highlighting the farmers markets that make a meaningful impact throughout Orange County.
Located at 303 W. Palm Ave. in Orange, the Orange Home Grown Farmers & Artisans Market has become a weekly gathering place where the community comes together around local food, agriculture, artisans, music, education, and connection.
“We believe food has the power to bring people together, and every Saturday our market celebrates these people, relationships, and local agriculture that makes Orange County such a special place to call home,” said Megan Penn, co-founder and executive director of the Orange Home Grown Foundation. “The Orange Home Grown Farmers & Artisans Market has existed these past 15 years to create a healthier, more connected community by supporting local family farmers, increasing access to fresh food through our Market Match, EBT, and WIC programs, and creating meaningful experiences that bring people together.”
The recognition comes during Orange Home Grown’s 15th year of the market and 17th year of the foundation. Through the farmers market and broader programming, Orange Home Grown works to strengthen and foster environmental and holistic health by creating educational programs and spaces that promote sustainability, food justice, and community engagement.
At the heart of the market is a simple idea: food connects people. Each Saturday, shoppers can purchase directly from local farmers and food producers, discover handmade goods from area artisans, listen to live music, participate in educational programming, and build relationships with the people who make Orange home.
“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who makes the market what it is; from the farmers and artisans who show up every week, to our volunteers, community partners, and the thousands of shoppers who choose to support local,” said Penn. “This recognition belongs to our entire community.”
The Orange Home Grown Farmers & Artisans Market takes place every Saturday at 303 W. Palm Ave., Orange, California.
