About the event
Home Grown Holiday Giving 2026
Instead of simply collecting canned goods this holiday season, OHG will be raising funds to purchase fresh, seasonal food from its own market vendors and assembling thoughtfully curated holiday food boxes for local families that rely on the El Modena Family Resource Center for support.
Every donation will accomplish two things:
Supporting local families: Provide fresh, nutritious food and meaningful ingredients for a holiday meal.
Supporting the small family farmers and food artisans that participate in the weekly farmer's market: Pay farmers and small businesses for their products, helping sustain the local food economy.
Hand packed seasonal farmer's market boxes will be dropped off in late November and late December to support local families in need this holiday season.
