April 20th: Urban Chicken Coop Tour and Egg Tasting
If you are an urban chicken keeper or are thinking about getting chickens of your own, this is a great way to see how your friends and neighbors have designed their coops. Several homes in Orange will open their backyard coops to visitors on this self-guided tour sponsored by Orange Home Grown and Slow Food.
Stop by any time between 12 and 3pm, meet the chickens, and enjoy an egg dish at each home prepared by Slow Food volunteers. This event is free, RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org in order to receive a map of participating homes.
